Architectural Assistant Responsibilities:
Preparation of architectural plans, elevations, sections, details, and presentations
Coordination and design of interior design selections
Development of structural understanding including design drawings, details, and calculations
Work efficiently and effectively across multiple projects
Budgeting, scheduling, and communicating with subcontractors
Construction administration including submittals, RFIs, change orders, site observations, and field verification
Organizes files, materials and displays
Assisting in the administrative duties of the businesses, including project accounting, organization, and publicity.
Updating the architectural product library and ordering project samples.
Product research and preparing reports such as product comparisons & project
schedules.
Maintaining timely, effective and honest communications with management and clients.
Qualifications:
High level of proficiency with Revit or Chief Architect required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
Undergraduate degree in Architecture or relevant field preferred
Experience with product coordination and purchasing, code analysis and code research, and/or construction assembly knowledge is preferred
