The ideal candidate will be a qualified architect who is able to construct clear diagrams using AutoCAD. This candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of all steps related to project completion and diligently communicate with necessary people to ensure timely execution. This candidate should also be able to conduct quality assurance checks on a frequent basis in order to ensure regulations are being followed. New architects and graduates are encouraged to apply, however they must be willing to learn and navigate construction processes and cladding requirements. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit is required.
Responsibilities

• Must be able to read construction blueprints and navigate through architectural drawings.
• Create plans and draft drawings based on project architect's original design intent.
• New drawings are to focus on exterior cladding and show product specific details
• Utilize knowledge of engineering, math, science and materials in order to create ideal finished product
• Oversee and make recommendations throughout entire construction process regarding drawings,
revised details, and design constraints
• Attention to detail to ensure new set of drawings are applicable to actual field conditions and installation
requirements
• Communicating with other teams regarding issues and solutions to projects

Qualifications
• Drafting skills and demonstrated knowledge of architecture
• Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
• Experience using Bluebeam

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in construction and architecture
• Understanding of exterior cladding products (James Hardie, ACM, etc...) and designs a strong plus
• Certified architects are preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or similar degree is acceptable if not fully certified as an
architect.

Christian Siding LLC is a contractor specializing in metal panel fabrication and exterior cladding. Located in Chantilly, VA this job will require the candidate to be able to manage their own commute to and from work and to work in the office standard weekday hours. Salary will determined on experience. If not apparent on resume through work experience, applicant must include in cover letter stating their relevant AutoCAD and Revit experience. Applicants may be asked to test their AutoCAD skills during the interview.
