POSITION TITLE: APPRENTICE SIGN MECHANIC FLSA Status: Non- Exempt

Cima Network is a Signage Manufacturing and Branding Company. If you've ever been to Walgreens, Rite Aid, Pep Boys or Regal Cinemas (to name a few), you've likely seen our work above their entrances, service entrances, and on the walls, etc.

With nearly endless opportunities to work overtime. Team members in this department are tasked with the production of various sign types and their components.

Required Skills:
-Excellent communication skills
-Handle high-pressure situations
-Ability to multitask and stay organized
-Ability to work within a team

Preferred Skills:
-Experience with hand tools and power tools
-Proper use of a ruler/measuring tape
-Maintaining a clean workspace
-Basic wiring
-Documenting labor and supplies used

Basic tools for the job (ideal to bring your own):
-Hammer
-Wire strippers
-Metal file
-Measuring tape
-Large flat-head screwdriver
-Phillips-head screwdriver
-Cordless power drill
-Cordless impact driver

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; work with their hands handle, or feel, whether directly manipulating components or using controls on an assembly machine. Employee must be able to talk or hear over shop noise. Employee must be able to stand for extended periods of time at worktables. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move 50 to 75 pounds and move it for at least 50 feet. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
