EyeProGPO is an ophthalmology-focused group purchasing organization formed to help healthcare providers and ambulatory surgery centers realize cost savings and workflow efficiencies by utilizing aggregated membership purchasing volume to negotiate discounts with manufacturers, distributors, and vendors to lower the cost of healthcare.
Job Summary
We are seeking an onsite Applications Developer to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for creating and modifying computer application software or specialized utility programs.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
• Work with the technology manager or product owner to meet specification needs.
• Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code.
• Create flowcharts and user guides for new and existing programs.
• Document all programming tasks and procedures.
• Perform routine software maintenance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in field or a minimum of two years previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields.
• Knowledge of Java, Python, PHP, APEX, or other programming languages.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Experience with application development lifecycle.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Commitment to professional engagement and continued development.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
