Archway Capital is an alternative investment manager that provides short-term capital to real estate sponsors nationwide.
Its products include Senior, 2nd Mortgages, Mezzanine Loans, and Preferred & JV Equity. The firm focuses on investing and financing transactions, targeting value-add and opportunistic acquisitions, and recapitalizations secured by transitional properties. Archway operates its business through a series of open-ended funds, joint ventures, and separate accounts. Archway�s principals and affiliated entities collectively manage over $6B in capital.
We also manage a portfolio of commercial and industrial properties.
We are in search of talented and motivated individuals who are interested in joining a winning team of successful like-minded professionals. The candidate must possess commitment to excellence, be customer focused and be deadline and goal oriented.
AP/AR will interact daily with the Controller, COO, Loan Team(s), and President.
Responsibilities
-Manage all account receivables and payables for both the lending and real estate portfolios
-Debit, credit, and total accounts using QuickBooks
-Monitor status of loans and accounts to ensure that payments are up to date
-Reconcile records of bank transactions
-Match order forms with invoices and record the necessary information
-Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, accuracy, and proper categorizing
-Calculate, prepare, and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements according to established procedures
-Prepare purchase orders and expense reports
-Prepare deposits and payments by compiling data from cashiers, verifying, and balancing receipts, and sending payments to financial institutions and vendors
-Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records
-Prepare monthly property-level bills and receivables
-Follow up with vendors and tenants that have delinquent AR balances, including misapplied payments and payment discrepancies
-Input receivables and payables into YARDI and Quickbooks
-Print checks and prepare for mailing
-Obtain W9 and insurance information from vendors
-Improve processes as needed
-Resolve past-due amounts
Ideal Candidate
-Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks and YARDI
-Ability to work independently with excellent communication and organization skills
-Strong time-management skills with ability to meet deadlines
-Capability to balance multiple projects at a time
-Experience with Yardi to Pay/Commercial Caf� Experience is a plus
