Product Ambassador
Soup du Jar is an up and coming boutique food company that offers farm to table soups, salads, dressings and breakfast parfait. We distribute almost exclusively via farmer's markets and online delivery. We believe in healthy, fresh ingredients (most of our products are vegan and organic). We're also committed to sustainability--we financially incent our customers to return the glass jars of which our products are packaged.
We started in the Conejo Valley and are presently in the Agoura, Brentwood, Calabasas, Melrose and Westlake Farmer's Markets. As we expand into Los Angeles we need bright and shiny faces with big smiles and warm & outgoing personalities to represent us at our booths. If you're a "foodie", all the better! We are presently seeking an individual who can work in the West LA area (Brentwood, Melrose, Hollywood) and/or also Pasadena.
Each market occurs one day a week, usually on a Saturday or Sunday. A typical market will require you to be there from 7am to 2pm or 7:30am to 2:30pm (depending on the market hours). Generally, we'll bring everything to the location and you'll set it up and run the booth. At the end of the event you'll take down and we'll pick everything up.
The patrons at farmer's markets are awesome, authentic and interesting. We've built great relationships with some of our customers, so be aware--there's an emotional connection that builds when you work these markets. It's really a lot of fun!
