Job Title: Pet Sitter / Dog walker
Job Description:
The Pets Pal in Santa Barbara are looking for part-time pet sitters to help provide the best care
for pets in the Santa Barbara area. You will be responsible for walking dogs, feeding and
cleaning up after animals, and potentially overnight visits with pets.
Responsibilities:
? Take incredible care of both cats and dogs, including walks, cleaning up after pets,
feedings, administering medication, etc.
? Primary job will be taking dogs on walks, but we also have quite a few clients with cats
and you may be chosen to perform overnight visits at clients homes while they are away.
? When walking dogs, you may have to walk two at a time, but never more than that!
? Keeping clients houses clean and leaving everything as it was when you arrived is
mandatory.
? You will also be expected to keep clients regularly updated on their pets through text
messages, photos, etc.
Qualifications:
? Experience working with animals in any setting is preferred, and you must be
comfortable with dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes as well.
? Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. We love providing top
notch service for our clients!
? Must have a car and valid driver�s license in order to travel back and forth from clients�
houses.
? Need to live in or very near to the Santa Barbara area, as that is where most of our clients
are located.
? Must be able to walk for at least 30 minutes straight, but potentially up to an hour of
walking.
? Must be available weekends and holidays
Type of Job: Part time/independent contractor
Pay: $15 per each 30-minute visit, $20 per each 1 hour visit, and $50 for each overnight visit
