THIS POSITION IS TEMP-PERM! POSITION IS NOT REMOTE.
Work Performed
- Analyzes ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors.
- Designs, recommends revisions to and installs quality control systems.
- Develops and documents analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components.
- Conducts analysis on relative reliability with regard to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production and availability of materials and equipment.
- Develops, implements and monitors company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state and local environmental, health and safety regulations, and recommends corrective actions, if any.
- Responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations and industry requirements related to product environmental compliance.
- Responsible for implementation & management of technical and testing standards & specs, quality control & reliability programs governing materials, product & processes resulting in optimizing use of material and labor.
- Responsible for failure analysis, root cause, corrective action and customer communication.

Knowledge, Skills & Innovation
Broad Management, Technical and Project Experience with Deep Knowledge in Accountable Area
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering or Science discipline.
- Management experience within sub-function and knowledge of related functions.
- Deep knowledge in area of accountability.
- Provides input on resolving key issues that directly impact the function.
- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
- Determines best course of action to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
- Adapts/makes departures from traditional approaches to enhance quality or value in existing methods.
Scope of Responsibility
Responsible for Project and Compliance, Management of Experienced Professionals, and Workforce / Workspace / Growth of the Business
- Typically reports to a Senior Manager or higher.
- Develops and administers schedules and performance requirements, and may have budget responsibilities.
- Assesses risk and compliance across area of accountability.
- Manages experienced professionals and/ or supervisors who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.
- Frequently interacts with multiple organizational levels.
- Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others.
- Budget planning and Management.
- Provides strategic leadership to foster growth of the business.
- Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
