Editorial Freelancer

This is a 1099 freelance remote position. Press Release writing needed. $18 per PR. All info is supplied in profile form so the contractor can excerpt the information and write the PR. Join our freelance team who have been with us for years!
Position-This is a long-term freelance opportunity. Many of our freelancers have been writing for us for years. Additional sales make it necessary to increase our freelancers. The ideal candidate will have prior editing/staff writing experience, demonstrate the ability to read and understand information and present it in a clear and concise manner. S/he will need to provide writing samples upon request and should be prepared to take a proficiency test as part of the candidate screening process. As an editor/writer, other items may be necessary to complete, in addition to press releases. Some of the other Branding pieces may be magazine articles, and biographical narratives, and book chapters for various print publications and online features.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, or related field
2-5 years of experience in editing/writing
Superior writing skills and the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
A keen eye for detail and command of the English language
Ability to work quickly and accurately under weekly deadline
Experience with MS Office, especially Word
If your writing samples fit in line with our style, you will be asked to do an instructional exercise and return it to us. If selected, then there will be a phone interview with our Director of Editorial Services and Executive VP.
