Youth culinary educator

Little Monsters Culinary is hiring! We are looking for an amazing person to join our culinary education team

Little Monsters Culinary is the leading youth culinary educational programming company in Sonoma county. We are looking to bring someone on board that is equally passionate about culinary arts and loves working with kids. Our mission is to inspire youth from ages 4 - 17 to get excited about cooking and being comfortable in the kitchen. Whether they want to become a Michelin star chef or just provide delicious food for friends and family. Our job is to make cooking fun, exciting, entertaining and delicious.

Skills Needed - You must be comfortable with kids, bonus if you’ve worked with kids in a daycare or school type setting. A background in culinary arts, either formally educated, currently in college or experience in a restaurant kitchen.

Commitment - We are looking to hire someone 1 or 2 days a week to teach 1 hour after school enrichment classes. You must arrive 20 minutes before the class begins to set up and there is about 30-40 minutes of clean up time after class.

Class Outline - You will teach 2 recipes per 1 hour class. The class will contain 10-14 students. A class plan and all ingredients will be provided to you weekly.

What we provide - We will provide a Little Monsters Culinary chef’s coat and an educational culinary kit. Each kit includes all equipment needed to teach a 1 hour class. You just need to provide your time and own transportation.
