Job Opportunity:

Our team is growing and we are seeking for a great RDH to join our dental team! The ideal candidate will be taking control of their career by being responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health in a professional and compassionate manner. For us, skills can be taught, we are looking for personality, willingness to grow and contribute to growth of our team and long term care of our patients health and education. Dr. also teaches at UCSF so mentoring available. 

Responsibilities:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures such as cleaning, scaling, probing and polishing teeth maintaining our patients oral health.
- Administer local anesthetics, SDF and medicine under the supervision of a dentist when needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care; be the lead advocate in the patients oral health care
- Take routine dental x-rays, maintain accurate patient records using proper medical documents and technology.
- Assist dentists during procedures as needed - latest technology includes but not limited to SDF, intraoral cameras, 3D printers, cavitron, new high end hygiene instruments for better hand health
- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

Requirements:

- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Proficiency in using dental office software for patient charting and scheduling
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

(BLS can be provided if not already attained)

WE are looking to expand our team with you looking for (2 days a week tue/thur + one sat/month) with opportunities to grow in days with us in the future. Our office is super flexible in work dynamics, big on ethics and strive on maintaining a fun respectful office environment. As mentioned we are open one Saturday a month as well (8am-1pm) so you can enjoy your weekends as well! Can't wait to meet you :)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $40.00 - $62.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift (tue/thur) with flexibility for other days are preferred 
• Day shift
• No nights
• Weekends as needed (1 half saturday a month)
