Teacher's Aide

• Serve morning Breakfast, snack, and lunch
• Clean up after each meal/snack
• Send daily updates through Brightwheel, with permission (picture and message)
• Partake in the organization of daily activities for students
• Ensure the safety of each child, indoors and outdoors
• Communicate issues and needs with supervisors
• Send parents reminder of needed items when told (ex. Diapers or tissues)
• Clean classroom, kitchen, and bathroom based on your scheduled duties
• Clean toys twice a week, based on your scheduled duties
• Advise supervisor of items and supplies needed
• Change children’s diapers/assist in the bathroom when needed
• Clean up after outdoor activities
• Dismiss children to known family members and known authorized pick-up persons
• Ensure a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for children and staff.
• Report suspected neglect and/or child abuse by staff or parents to DCFS.
• Follow directional instruction from superiors
