Tasting Room Host
Cascade Cliffs Vineyard & Winery
is looking for a FULL TIME and/or PART TIME new members to join our tasting room team. We are looking for enthusiastic people with a passion for wine and working with the public. Candidates must be articulate, self-motivated, customer service oriented, and must be able to work WEEKENDS.
Responsibilities: Greet and serve guests in a friendly, gracious manner. Describe wines, wine making and vineyard techniques, and winery/vineyard history. Willing to learn about Wine and provide information and education about our wines and wine clubs. Handle point-of-sale transactions. Help with housekeeping tasks to maintain a neat and orderly working environment. Merchandising and stocking. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager.
Qualifications: Must be Reliable and at least 21 years of age. Able to lift and move up to 40 lbs. Knowledge of and passion for wine. Available and willing to work weekends. Able to stand for extended periods of time. Minimum 2 years of wine sales experience is preferred. High energy and work well in a fast-paced environment. Capable of working independently, and of managing multiple tasks at once. Excellent communication skills. Must be computer literate. Team player in an environment that requires flexibility and multi-tasking. Able to get Alcohol and Food Serving Permits within 30 days.
