Karen Alweil Studio is a wholesale sales agency that has been in business for 20 year plus. KAS represents various companies nationally and has established relationships with retailers worldwide. We offer design and lifestyle-related products including personal care, tabletop, children’s, gifts, art, and furniture. The company has permanent showrooms in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Atlanta while also participating in major tradeshows throughout the year including Shoppe Object in New York City.

Role Description

The Showroom Assistant will ensure the smooth operation of the showroom in Las Vegas, NV. The Showroom Assistant will be responsible for building and maintaining showroom organization. This is an on-site role located in Las Vegas, NV.

This position will be on-call. However, it will be largely dependent on our trade show schedule with on-site presence necessary during the months of January and July of each year, in addition to 2 week periods during mini-shows during March and October.

Qualifications

• Customer service and Communication skills
• Sales experience
• Experience in the wholesale or retail industry
• Excellent organizational skills

The ideal candidate:
· Sales experience in a related industry such as Home, Fashion, Design, Lifestyle, Retail, or Personal Care
· Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills (both verbal & written)
· Self-motivated and highly driven
· Assertive, enthusiastic, personable, reliable, and organized
· Minimum of 2 years experience in sales and customer relations
· Team player willing to help out co-workers when needed
· Experience with Excel and Google Docs (required)
