Job Description & Responsibilities

The Keyholder will report to and assist the Store Manager in day-to-day sales & operations of the store. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Achieving daily & monthly sales targets
  • Executing Makers Market Sales & Clienteling procedures, including welcoming customers, assist with product selection, provide product knowledge of our makers, encourage customers to sign up for email lists to stay up-to-date on our store markets, events, and promotions
  • Opening and closing the store
  • Daily cash reconciliation
  • Receiving and verifying incoming merchandise
  • Execute transfers of product from store to store
  • Merchandising product as outlined in our Merchandising Standards
  • Uphold all Makers Market Policies & Procedures
  • Be a brand ambassador!
  • Other tasks assigned by the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, and/or the Makers Market executive team

Job Requirements

  • Must have a passion for Made in America and/or handmade products
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to take responsibility and execute
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail, reliable, and dedicated
