Sales Associate

We are Olive & Loom, a Mediterranean lifestyle woman-owned shop located in Kensington MD. We believe in a healthy and uplifting work culture, and we'd love for you to join our growing small business! We are looking for a part-time sales associate to join our team starting this fall.

Responsibilities:

• Taking care of customers needs in store (you have to have a positive & outgoing disposition).
• Checkout process - learn how to operate the Shopify system for checkout.
• Familiar with Faire & Shopify platforms & learn how to operate.
• Fulfilling orders online. Packing orders & printing labels, etc.
• Maintain store duties like clean-up, merchandise & any day-to-day tasks assigned to you.
• Learn the opening & closing shift duties.

We're looking for someone that's willing to learn, hard working and dependable. If you're the right fit and if you show your ability to grow, we will not hesitate to offer more hours & a stable position in our company (we love good people!)

Looking for weekend availability and some weekday availability when needed (If you're in school we only need guaranteed closing shift).

Minimum of 15 hours per week, will increase to 24-30 hours once the holidays kick in.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 30 per week
