Retail Sales Associate

Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming in Chapel Hill, North Carolina has an immediate opening for a Part Time Retail Sales Associate in our fast-paced store. Our ideal candidate has a genuine love for dogs, an outgoing personality, great communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail a must.  Previous retail/reception experience a plus. 

 

Our Store is in the upscale vibrant East 54 neighborhood of Chapel Hill, just one mile from the University of North Carolina Campas and three miles from downtown Chapel Hill.  We are nestled between numerous shops, restaurants, and hundreds of passionate dog owners residing in on-site luxury apartments and condominiums. 

 

Job Description:

Greet all customers in a welcoming manner.

Assist grooming clients during drop off and pick up.

Lead onboarding process for new clients to include:

• Gather all necessary documents, information, and shot records.
• Communicate with Animal Hospitals to obtain medical information when needed.

Rebook and confirm grooming appointments via phone, text and/or email.

Answer phones, book, confirm, reschedule and follow up on appointments when needed.

Always maintain a clean and well-organized sales floor.

Process payments to include cash, credit/debit, and gift cards.

Assist with inventory, including receiving, and stocking merchandise.

Communicate any product sales, specials and/or promotions.

 

 

Qualifications & Skills

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• High School Diploma or Equivalent 
• Computer skills

 

Joy Type: Part Time (10 to 15 hours per week)

Pay: $12.50 to $14.00 per hour

Shift: 4 to 7 hours

 

Weekly Day range:

• Monday to Friday (Store hours Monday -Saturday) 10am to 5pm
• Rotating Saturdays
• Closed Sundays
