Seeking a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC), licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed social worker (LSW), licensed psychologist (PhD or PsyD), or licensed marital and family therapist (LMFT) to join our thriving practice. This is a flexible position with options to work remotely and/or in person at our Elmhurst location. Applicants who wish to work fully remotely will be considered, as long as they reside within the state of Illinois. Preference will be given to clinicians who are available to hold regular office hours on evenings and/or weekends.

Through the Woods Therapy & Wellness is a practice whose culture encourages personal and professional growth. Our clinical approach utilizes empirically-based treatment modalities and theoretical frameworks to address a range of presenting problems such as mood and anxiety disorders, substance abuse/addiction, trauma, attachment, and interpersonal relationship issues. We provide quality, trauma-informed, empathetic care to our individual, couple, and family clients and offer genuine support and empowerment to one another. Our team is active in the community, engaging in and facilitating events that offer education and outreach, charity, and community service.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must hold Master’s degree or higher in social work, professional counseling, clinical psychology or marital and family therapy and must be licensed in the State of Illinois as an LCSW, LSW, LCPC, LPC, LMFT, or Clinical Psychologist 
  • At least 1 year of full-time postgraduate experience providing outpatient psychotherapy
  • Must have experience evaluating, diagnosing, and treating emotional disorders in an outpatient setting
  • Excellent professional communication skills (written/verbal)
