Preschool Teacher
Provide a caring, safe, healthy, loving environment with age-appropriate curriculum and activities which meet the developmental needs of the children and which meet California State Standards for preschool. Nurture the children's cognitive, physical, and social/emotional development. Qualifications: a) a passion for working with young children; b) A minimum of 4 Core Early Childhood Education courses (12 units)--more units are preferred; c) a minimum of 2 years' experience lead teaching preschool and/or pre-k level; d) passing a background check; e) proof of a negative TB test, immunity to measles and pertussis. This is a Monday-Friday, part-time position. Class time is 9:00 AM-12 Noon, and teachers are paid for 4 hours to prep/clean up for this 3-hour class. Start date: Thursday, August 10, 2023.
