We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic preschool aide to join our team. As a preschool aide, you will work closely with the lead teacher to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for young children. 

 

Responsibilities:

- Assisting the lead teacher with implementing daily lesson plans and activities

- Helping to maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

- Monitoring and supervising children during playtime and other activities

- Providing support to children with their daily routines, such as meal times and bathroom breaks

- Assisting in the assessment and documentation of children's progress

- Communicating effectively with parents and other staff members

Qualifications:

• a Child Development Associate (CDA) or 12 credit hours in Early Childhood

Education.

or

• five years of experience in an Early Childhood or Education Setting.

or

• High school diploma or equivalent and a written plan approved by the principal.

- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting preferred

- Ability to work collaboratively with others

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Patience and a nurturing attitude towards children

- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds

- First aid and CPR certification is a plus
