Bonjour! My name is Aurore Adam, I am the founder and owner of Aurore French Bakery. I fell in love with Montana thanks to my twin sister Alison, who has been living here for 5 years. 3 years ago I finally made the move from Paris to Bozeman in order to open an authentic French Bakery here in the Gallatin Valley. I started by baking out of my kitchen, attending Farmer's Markets, and catering weddings and other events. On May 3rd 2023, we officially opened our Brick and Mortar store. We are still in the early stages and have seen great success selling our products and building our customer base. Now, we are focused on growing and improving every day. Our core team is made up of our bakery personnel - baker, pastry chef, assistant baker, tourier and barista/cashiers. Your input is always appreciated and valued.

We love our work here and we have a very positive and encouraging culture. We are hustling all the time. That means being on your feet for entire shifts, cleaning and re-cleaning things constantly, and maintaining a positive professional attitude in interactions with customers vendors and staff. Head Pastry Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Make French delicacies such as Royal, Fraisier, Framboisier, Tarte citron meringuée, Tartes aux fruits, Eclair, Choux, Chouquettes, Macarons.
  • Create cakes that will become memories for weddings and special events.
  • Contribute ideas for unique and profitable menus.
  • Ensure production quality.
  • Determine product pricing.
  • Estimate supply and ingredient needs.
  • Coordinate timing of food production activities.
  • Record operational or production data.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements for Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with our team.
  • Flexibility: Because Aurore French Bakery is a new business, we need to be able to adapt to changes and improvements every day.
  • Receptive to suggestions and opportunities for improvement.
  • Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations.
  • Being able to lift heavy items (55 lbs - 25 kg).
  • Committing to Aurore French Bakery values.

Working Days Schedule: 6 AM to 2 PM on Wednesday & 4 AM to 12 PM on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Pay: $18-20 per hour (depending on experience)

Position: Full time, 1 year employment contract minimum. We are looking for someone who will be part of the growth the company.

Location: In person at Aurore French Bakery - 141 West Baxter Lane, Unit 13, Bozeman MT 59718.
