Packaging Associate

Tech Lots LLC is in the computer hardware wholesale and e-commerce industry. We specialize in providing refurbished computer components and peripherals to our customers, both wholesale clients and individual consumers. Our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction has driven our growth, and we are currently seeking a motivated Packaging Associate and Warehouse Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a Packaging Associate and Warehouse Assistant at TECHLOTS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of our products and maintaining a well-organized inventory. You will be responsible for cleaning and packaging products, preparing orders for shipment, and assisting in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and inspect computer hardware components and peripherals before packaging to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Properly package products according to established guidelines to prevent damage during shipping.
• Assemble packaging materials and boxes for different types of products.
• Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring all items are included and properly labeled.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, counting, and organizing incoming products.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a neat and organized warehouse layout for efficient product storage and retrieval.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move and stack products as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse, adhering to company guidelines and industry best practices.
• Participate in periodic inventory audits and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
• Support the team in various warehouse-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, packaging, or related role is preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware components is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate packaging and inventory management.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety procedures is beneficial.
• Basic computer skills for recording and tracking inventory.

Salary: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
