Nurse Practitioner

Wellness Plus Care is a small but growing healthcare concierge practice in Hunt Valley, MD that provides peptide, bioidentical hormone replacement, and weight loss therapies. Extensive education is provided to patients to ensure they are informed of all their options and the benefits of each. We strive to help patients take back control of their bodies to achieve hormonal balance and improve their quality of life.

 

The nurse practitioner role addresses both medical and administrative needs. The nurse practitioner will work in the office for 5-6 hours per day for 1-2 days per week (Monday-Friday). There is a possibility to acquire more hours if desired as the practice expands. They will work directly with patients to provide education on therapy options, conduct comprehensive assessments including taking vitals and drawing blood, and customize treatment plans to fit their individual needs. They will order diagnostic tests, write bioidentical hormone prescriptions, and perform pellet insertions. The nurse practitioner also performs various administrative duties necessary for the daily flow of the practice. They contribute to a positive office environment by maintaining professionalism with patients and a collaborative attitude with office staff.

 

 

Skills and qualifications:

• Certified Nurse Practitioner  (required)
• Proficient in phlebotomy
• BLS/CPR certified (required)
• Experience with EMR systems
• Experience with hormone replacement therapy (preferred)
• Strong computer and office management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and make decisions when circumstances arise
• Friendly and outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and patient care skills
• Dependable and self-motivated
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
