Membership Development Manager
The Delaware Small Business Chamber is seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Membership Development Manager. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our chamber and the small businesses we serve throughout the state of Delaware and surrounding business communities.
Position Overview:
Role: Membership Development Manager
Employment Type: Part-time (approximately 30 hours per week)
Compensation: Base salary plus performance-based bonuses
Responsibilities:
Promote and market the Delaware Small Business Chamber to attract new members
Develop and implement strategies to increase membership and revenue
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential members
Provide support and assistance to chamber members as needed
Collaborate with the chamber team to plan and execute events, workshops, and networking opportunities
Utilize various marketing channels to effectively communicate the chamber's mission and benefits to potential members
Identify and pursue partnership and sponsorship opportunities to enhance member benefits and chamber programs
Monitor and report on membership metrics and provide recommendations for improvement
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, small business needs, and best practices in membership development
Qualifications:
Previous sales, marketing, or membership development experience is preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Proficient in using digital marketing tools and platforms
Knowledge of the small business landscape in Delaware is a plus
