Massage Therapist
First Merritt Chiropractic/ Acupuncture is a busy, well established, office seeking to fill the role of Massage Therapist. This role consists of offering therapeutic massage services to compliment chiropractic treatments offered at this location. Candidates must have experience working in a professional setting and experience in a medical setting is strongly preferred. Experience in the following modalities is preferential:
-Trigger Point
-Myofascial Release
-Sports Massage
-Deep Tissue.
Therapists must be licensed by the state of Florida and carry their own liability insurance.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
Give effective therapeutic massage treatments, tailored to client needs and requests, to improve the comfort and mobility of clients suffering from pain, to relax them, and to promote general health.
Be able to carry clients safely onto and off of treatment tables.
Communicate effectively with clients.
Provide effective client care while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
Carry out infection control policies and procedures.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $26.63 - $32.07 per hour
