The Swimming Swan is hiring seasonal lifeguards swim instructors to work at the CHS Aquatics Center in Gilroy, CA. No experience necessary! We’re looking for people who love being outdoors, learning lifesaving skills, and working with a team and their community.
DETAILS
Seasonal, Part-Time
Up to 30-40 hours a week
Pool Hours: 7:45 AM - 7:15 PM, 7 days a week
Spring: Saturday, May 27th - Sunday, June 11, 2023 (Weekends only)
Summer: Tuesday, June 13 - Friday, August 6, 2023 (Closed Mondays)
Weekdays: 9 AM - 8 PM
Weekends: 9 AM - 7 PM
Fall: Saturday, August 8th - Sunday, October 1, 2023 (Closed Mondays)
5-7:30 pm weekdays
12 - 5 pm weekends.
Duties: lifeguarding pool area teaching group swim lessons to students ages 2+
We offer 50% reimbursement on all certification courses for new hires.
$300 Bonus: qualify with a full season of work (Summer 2023)
QUALIFICATIONS
Ages 15+
Ability to complete pass an ARC or equivalent Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification
Ability to pass pre-employment verbal skills test
Ability to pass a swim and in-water skills test when applicable
All applicants are subject to background screenings and (when applicable) drug testing
Strong customer service background preferred
