Job Title: Lead Ice Cream Scooper
Job Type: $15.50/hour + TIPS | Part-time
Reports To: General Manager

About Harmony Valley Creamery:

Harmony Valley Creamery knows what it takes to make udderly awesome craft ice cream made in small batches that delight the taste buds of locals and visitors alike. We are seeking someone to join our team as the Lead Ice Cream Scooper in our famously vintage scoop trucks located in Harmony and San Luis Obispo! Schedules include rotating weekends and events like weddings, SLO Farmers Market, and other local events. The Lead Scooper also performs local deliveries and assists with Harmony Valley Creamery social media. Our ideal candidate is a reliable and dependable employee who always provides a pleasant customer experience, can deliver pints and tubs to our retail partners, monitor inventory, and serve up delicious ice cream!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet Harmony Valley Creamery customers and serve up delicious ice cream by following Harmony Valley Creamery food safety and customer service procedures
• Operate the Scoop Truck and serve ice cream at events such as weddings, the SLO Famers Market, and other local events
• Total orders, process payments, provide correct change, and close out the cash register
• Restock ice cream flavors in the Scoop Truck
• Conduct ice cream inventory, supplies inventory, and retail inventory at select locations
• Deliver Harmony Valley Creamery pints and tubs to retail partners
• Assist with Harmony Valley Creamery social media Employment Requirements:
• Ability to work various weekends and evenings
• Ability to perform twice-weekly deliveries around San Luis Obispo County
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and be on your feet for long periods during a shift
• Must have a driver’s license
• Must obtain Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire
• Excellent customer service skills
• Friendly and positive personality
