About Jigsaw Developmental Services

Jigsaw Developmental Services is focused on enriching the lives of children in the development of life skills. Through our therapeutic support, Jigsaw works closely with clients and their families in the support of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities.

Under the direction of experienced BCBA's, Jigsaw’s Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) utilizes effective methods and experience in supporting children with autism and related disorders in maximizing their potential.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide direct applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to our clients on a full time basis.
Follow individualized treatment plans for children on caseload (implement client goals focused on teaching communication, play, social, leisure, and adaptive living skills while helping to reduce challenging or interfering behaviors)
Instruct, motivate, and assist clients to learn and/or improve functional activities (engage and play to create natural teaching opportunities that include client interests)
Carryout intervention and accurately compile data on client responses to treatments (use company technology to collect data on client goals and progress)
Work alongside families, siblings, and other providers to increase treatment effectiveness and promote client progress
Commute between client homes, schools, or community activities to provide support for families
Complete session notes at each visit and include in chart
Participate in sessions in-person with client and Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®)
Discuss with members of therapy staff, individually and in conference, client information for planning and coordinating treatment programs
Provide assistance for Jigsaw client when requested
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Be polite and professional with families, organizations, children, and co-workers
Communicate confidentially and professionally with behavioral support staff, educators, parents and the community


EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Must have reliable transportation to travel to client homes, schools, and community activities
You should be able to lift up to 25 lbs. routinely
Regular and timely communication with all stakeholders
Ability to pass a state and federal background check
Experience working with children ages 2-18
Experience working in a home or school setting with individuals with special needs
Required or willingness to attain certification as a RBT®

TRAINING
40 hour online RBT®training provided if needed
Comprehensive training curriculum, including in-person sessions with clients and experienced trainers
Ongoing, weekly support and hands on training with BCBA®
Regular staff trainings for continued education
