AR Workshop Durham is a small business in Downtown Durham, NC. We are searching for part-time instructors to assist with our Boutique Arts and Crafts DIY Studio. You will learn how to conduct our workshops, prep raw materials for classes, create retail crafts and so much more! This is a great part-time opportunity for those who want to work hard, enjoy people and have fun!

AR Workshop Durham offers hands-on DIY workshops to create wood signs, canvas pillow covers and wall hangings, wood boxes, lazy susans, wood trays and charcuterie boards, chunky knit blankets, and more. We host birthday parties for kids and adults, team-building events, corporate events, and other celebrations. We also have a small retail section. We will teach you all the projects and how to handle the small power tools we use (drills, nail guns, staple guns, sander, saw [if applicable]). A typical shift is 4 or less hours (extra hours can be picked up for project prep items as desired).
Responsibilities include:
- Project setup/assembly
- Workshop instruction and guidance for guests during the workshop
- Workshop cleanup
- Opportunity to learn/work in Adobe Illustrator
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
