Certified Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities:

• Provide superior customer care at drop-off when receiving new prescriptions and refill medications
• Efficiently and accurately perform duties associated with prescription filling using computer software. Correctly enter patient and drug information, dispense medication by retrieving, counting and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verify medication accuracy and release medication to the patient
• Process third party claims in a timely and efficient manner
• Answer telephone calls with professionalism and with care for patient privacy
• Execute ordering of medications and inventory

​Qualifications:

• Oregon Certified Pharmacy Technician License
• Fluent math skills allowing for calculations such as insulin day supply determination
• Strong and versatile computer skills
• Excellent communication skills for use with patients and coworkers to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job - remaining upright on the feet for 8 hours at a time, ability to move through the pharmacy on foot without difficulty, ability perform light lifting

~ Starting pay is based on experience

~ Position is 24 hours/week guaranteed with episodic increases
