Part-time Barista or cashier wanted for fast-growing coffee and ice cream shop, located next to Concord Mills Mall.
This role contributes to The Percantile and Creamery’s success by creating an amazing coffee and treat experience in the Charlotte metro area.
The barista/cashier works the coffee bar and ice cream shop, maintains quality products, models excellent customer service, and maintains and promotes a clean and beautiful workspace.
Essential Job Functions:
Deliver consistent customer service excellence.
Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment/customers for cues.
Operate coffee machinery and ensure cleanliness.
Assist team in serving drinks and treats to seated customers.
Maintain a clean coffee bar and eating area to ensure health code standards are met.
Transactions for coffee bar purchases.
Assist with marketing initiatives.
Required Experience and Skills:
2 plus years’ experience as a barista and/or coffee bar, preferred, not necessary.
Previous restaurant or coffee shop experience.
A deep knowledge of coffee brands and equipment.
Experience in training other baristas.
Proven excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to deliver a great customer experience in busy times, address customer complaints to convert them to loyal customers.
Entrepreneurial spirit.
Open to future growth opportunities.
Available to work days, evenings and weekends.
