Our main office is located in Napa with opportunities across Napa, Sonoma, Sacramento and Solano counties working in the homes of the clients we serve. Position overview: The Behavior Interventionist works in the family’s home providing 1:1 behavioral instruction, support to families, and implementing the Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) program to children with autism and other disabilities. If interested in the field of Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Education, and/or Therapy, this is a great way to make a difference with the families and clients we serve! Behavior Interventionists are responsible for implementing treatment plans under the direction of BTS program directors. Spanish speaking a plus, bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply* Part-time opportunities available (20-30 hours a week)– We will train! Responsibilities: -Provide 1:1 direct ABA intervention in home and community settings -Collect and record accurate data on patient progress -Ensure professional appearance and conduct during all session/interactions -Communicate effectively and with compassion to all patients, families, and colleagues -Work with children in their home/community providing a safe and supportive environment. -Seek training opportunities to ensure clinical excellence -Receive support from Supervisor, reviewing feedback and implementing changes. -Maintain HIPAA compliance, and adhere to BTS policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Qualifications: -A positive, flexible attitude and enthusiasm to serve children -Ability to work collaboratively with team, and maintain a positive attitude -Ability to work independently, and is an effective communicator -Participation in team meetings and ongoing training -Must be reliable and a willingness to work with a variety of patients -Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required -ABA knowledge and/or experience is preferred, but not required -RBT certified is a plus, but not required (we will support you in obtaining certification!) -Spanish speaking a plus, bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply!
