Activities Assistant
The Tender is a non-profit Adult Day Center and Caregiver Support organization for individuals with Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias. We have been in operation since 1977 and are the only social day center in the South Jersey area.
We are looking for a self-starter with strong people skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with clients, staff and caregivers in a positive, appropriate and professional manner. Reliability and compassion is a must.
Position is responsible to assist the Activities Director in the implementation of the daily routine, including coordination of meals, activities and special events.
Continual communication with the Activities Director regarding client participation and assit with the development of a personalized care plan.
Set up and breakdown of needed materials before and after program and maintaining the overall organization of the center.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: From $15.00 per hour
