Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide support and guidance to children
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement lesson plans that align with educational goals
- Assist with classroom management, including behavior management and discipline
- Provide care and supervision for children, ensuring their well-being throughout the day
Skills:
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
- Knowledge of lesson planning and curriculum development
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with parents, colleagues, and other staff members
- Understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to work well with diverse groups of children
Pay: DOE
Expected hours: 25 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
