Job/Internship Description - A Paid and Learning Opportunity

Duties:

- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate their behavioral health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address mental health issues and promote positive coping strategies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment for patients. Provide Linkage services to community resources.
- Utilize evidence-based practices, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, to support patients in achieving their treatment goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including coding for billing purposes
- Participate in clinical research projects to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of social work

Experience and Interests:

- Strong Interest in social work or a related field
- Some Experience working with children, adolescents and family is highly preferred
- Proficient or Strong interest in learning how to conduct patient assessments and developing treatment plans
- Strong interest in learning and incorporating cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques and their application in a clinical setting; as well as medical records management and coding practices.


- Interest in participating in clinical research projects is a plus

Our staff will provide training to those who are new to this field and willing to learn.

Salary: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 4 to 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Hybrid remote
  • Outpatient

  • Day Shift (Preferred)

Work Location: Locations Throughout both Northern and Southern California
