Accounting Internship

Winter Accounting and Advising LLC is seeking intern for the 2024 Tax Season

Each intern will have the opportunity to be involved with the preparation of individual and business income tax returns. This process includes collecting raw data from clients, organizing the data, interpreting the data, and preparing/assembling tax returns. Each return prepared will be reviewed by a senior accountant and each change that is needed will be discussed with the intern. This experience requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Adobe. Training using the firm’s tax software and procedures will be provided. 

Target hire date:               January 15, 2023      

Start date:                           February 5, 2024

End date:                             April 16, 2024

 

If selected, candidates could be compensated by either one of two ways (not both):

-Application through the Pitt Business Career Internship Scholarship Program

-Direct pay from employer, Winter Accounting and Advising LLC @ $20/hour  

Minimum of 20 hours weekly – each intern will have the opportunity to work additional hours if allowed/desired.
