Welder
Welders are responsible for the preparation of metal structures and work areas. The welder is responsible for welding, setting up and maintaining welded metal structures.
THE FOLLOWING ARE GEROME MFG. CO., INC. JOB DESCRIPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Reports directly to Production Manager with matters concerning ISO / QS Standards with regards to customer manufacturing quality
- Read manufacturing prints
- Use and read tape measures or other measuring devices
- Ability to set up and operate various welders (MIG, TIG, Etc.)
THE FOLLOWING ARE THE TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior technical experience or training in welding operation
- OJT may be substituted for experience
- The ability to take and pass a weld test
