Unarmed Security Guard

Sheepdog Public Safety is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as an Unarmed Security Guard in Elk Park, NC. As a full-time Unarmed Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of the residential community.

 

**Responsibilities:**

- Patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates

- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems

- Respond to emergencies and alarms promptly and investigate disturbances

- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences

- Provide assistance to residents and guests as needed

 

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous security experience preferred but not required

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time

• Must have or be able to obtain a NC PPSB Unarmed Guard card.
