Teacher Assistant

Overview:

TBI Leonard and Madlyn Abramson Early Childhood Education Community is hiring teacher assistants. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and have some experience working with young children. The Center is looking for caring, motivated, energetic individuals. A love for children and desire to nurture and safeguard them is essential. A value for play and creativity within a thoughtfully developed and structured environment is required to promote learning, exploration, personal expression and knowledge.

• Maintain daily classroom schedule
• Supporting each child’s social, emotional and intellectual growth and development
• Ensuring the wellbeing and safety of children at all times
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven organizational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain a professional personal appearance, attitude and work behavior at all times
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
