PV Solar Panel Installer and Foreman Job Responsibilities

The Commercial PV Solar Panel Installer is responsible for installing commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. In addition to the skills and experience outlined below, we are looking for someone who is passionate about the solar industry, is a team player, whose values are in line with our own and who has the ability to learn and follow our processes. For the position of a Foreman on our team, you must have at least 2-years of solar installation experience and additional supervisory experience in the construction industry.

Your typical day as a Commercial PV Installer

● PreYour typical day will be spent at the job site performing the following duties:
● Preparing buildings for panel installation by installing roof railings and stand offs and/or ballasted systems
● Mounting solar panels on commercial buildings
● Properly flashing all roof penetrations
● Conducting supervised light electrical work including running electrical DC wires to inverters
● Cleaning and maintaining equipment
● Who we're looking for
● To be considered for our Solar Installer opportunity you must:
● Be able to climb ladders to get on a roof
● Be able to work on roofs for 4-6 hours a day
● Ability to bend conduit is a plus
● Must also possess the following experience:
● 1+ year experience working on a roof
● 1+ year working in the construction industry
● Electrical experience is a plus
PV experience is a plus (and is required for the Foreman position, as explained above)

Other requirements

● Valid HI Driver’s License
● Pass a Motor Vehicle Report (no DUIs in the last 7 years)
● Pass a criminal background check and drug test
