Shuttle Driver

Hogan Hospitality Group is looking to hire an exceptional shuttle driver to provide guest transportation and handle luggage and related services for Shilo Inns Hotel and Suites Portland Airport

• The shuttle driver will provide for safe, prompt guest transportation.
• Represent the hotel with enthusiasm, professionalism, and business-like appearance and demeanor to all hotel guests, clients, prospective clients, agents, and the community.
• Be knowledgeable on all important hotel features, amenities, and services for the hotel.
• Be knowledgeable on hotel safety, security, and emergency equipment and procedures. 
• Be knowledgeable about this area’s attractions, events, and activities.
• Assist arriving and departing guests with their luggage.
• Inspect, clean, and service the van.
• Maintain mileage logbooks.

The person in the position of a shuttle driver must:

• Hold a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and maintain a safe driving record.
• Able to safely drive a Company vehicle.
• Must be highly motivated.
• Have a high degree of communication and organization skills, professional demeanor and attire, and good initiative, work habits, and flexibility.
• Have experience working with the public in service or problem-solving roles.
• Able to safely lift and carry 40 pounds for the purpose of handling emergency procedures and guest luggage.
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and squat for the purpose of cleaning and using under-counter storage.
• Able to stand for periods of eight hours with breaks.
• Able to climb and descend stairs and lift and carry luggage.
