Duties
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to clients to improve their functional abilities and independence
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as speech therapists and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate clients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for continued progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation requirements
