Sales Assistant
Base Salary: $45,000 per year gross, less applicable Federal and State taxes
Bonus: Are decided each year when the forecast is developed and will be paid out quarterly based on
criteria set forth the quarter before. A bonus is not guaranteed and subject to company performance.
Benefits: You will have the right to participate in the company’s health plan and other benefits
consistent with other Universal Metals employees and subject to the terms and conditions of these
plans.
Vacation: You will receive 2 weeks per year. Accrual begins after 90 days.
Sick days: You will receive 6 paid sick days per year.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Mission, Vision and Values of the Company
Daily job duties include:
o Order entry
o Entering quotes
o Calling vendors to get pricing and lead times
Misc. admin tasks
Know the AS6279 Clauses Boeing H900 clauses
Memorize material specs
Understand our VAS and when it applies
QUALIFICATIONS
Self-driven individual with the ability to prioritize daily workload
Strong verbal communication skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
Must be capable of regularly and customarily working under limited supervision and using discretion and independent judgment in carrying out job functions
Must possess strong time management skills and well-organized
Must be able to meet the physical requirements
