Runner
Reports to: AGM
Objective / Purpose
The overall objective and purpose of the runner is to support servers and bartenders in delivering beverages and food to guests in a timely manner They are to provide the highest level of service in support of the mission, core values, standards and goals established by the company.
Essential Functions / Tasks
Primary responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
• Deliver drinks and food for both servers and bartenders.
• Clears and resets counters or tables at conclusion of each course.
• Assists dining room waiters in the food and beverage service, set tables, serve guests as directed by the waiter, keep menus clean, clean table between servings, menu knowledge.
• Assists with providing tables with beverages.
• Transports dirty dishes to dishwashing station.
• Polish silver and glass as needed.

Responsibilities
• Ensure that the order is complete and accurate prior to delivering to the correct table.
• Pick up drinks as soon as they are made at the bar and deliver to guests.
• Remove any empty/used glasses from tables, bar, bus stations, etc.
Skills
• Solid grasp of beverage menu
• Thorough understanding of the restaurant floor plan
• Clear communication skills in order to ensure proper drink delivery to guests.
• Excellent people skills and outgoing personality
• Avid team player
Minimum Qualifications
Education, License, Certifications, Experience
• Previous experience within food and beverage a plus.
Work Environment / Physical Demands:
• A large portion of time will be spent in a kitchen or bar.
