Registered Dental Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality patient service by providing thorough patient care, effective communication and personal
attention.
- Prepare the treatment rooms, patient records, equipment and necessary instruments for dental procedures
- Provide chairside assistance to the doctor including but not limited to basic and complex restorative,
surgical, endodontic, pediatric, emergency and preventative dental procedures
- Record accurate and concise patient and treatment information for clinical notes
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care prior to and following surgery or other dental treatment
procedures
- Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
- Monitor inventory and ordering of dental supplies.
Qualifications required:
-Current Texas RDA license
-Current CPR
-N2O monitoring certification (can get within 30 days of hire if needed)
