Recovery Treatment Tech

The Recovery Tech is a key member of the Evolution Recovery Services team in providing support and assistance to individuals dealing with substance abuse issues. They are responsible for working closely with our Registered Peer Recovery Specialists (RPRS) to ensure that all clients are receiving the care they need for their recovery and wellness. Whether working part-time or full-time, this position requires a compassionate and dedicated individual committed to promoting recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborative Care: Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for individuals in recovery.
• Supportive Assistance: Provide empathetic and nonjudgmental support to individuals navigating mental health challenges, substance abuse, or personal crises.
• Resource Referral: Connect individuals with appropriate resources, including mental health services, substance abuse treatment programs, and community support organizations.
• Advocacy: Advocate for individuals' rights and needs within the healthcare and social service systems. And encourage self-advocacy in our clients.
• Crisis Prevention: Identify potential crisis situations and implement proactive measures to prevent escalation.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on best practices in recovery support, crisis intervention, and related areas through training and professional development opportunities.
