Receiver

We are seeking a reliable and organized Shipper/Receiver to join our bakery operation in The area . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely shipment and receipt of bakery products and supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments of bakery products and supplies.
• Verify accuracy of shipments and ensure that they are properly labeled and stored.
• Prepare outgoing shipments of bakery products according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments and receipts.
• Coordinate with bakery production team to ensure that the correct products and quantities are shipped and received.
• Use computerized inventory system to manage inventory levels and track product movements.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in shipping and receiving.
• Experience in the food industry or bakery operation is an asset.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.

Salary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 – 44 per week
