Description
The Quality Technician will assist the Quality Manager by collecting& testing samples, data collection, bioassays, weekly storm water inspections, and participate in product development.
Coordinates and performs tests at the quality control stage of the manufacturing process.
Maintains systems to report test results and add them to master files.
Coordinates with manager to ensure quality issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
Monitor compost with weekly temperature, moisture, pH, and EC checks.
Product Quality testing: pH, moisture, EC, pH drift, raw materials check.
Assist in bioassays.
Assist with weekly storm water site surveys.
Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements
Excel proficiency, the ability to create graphs, and tables.
Ability to work independently at multiple tasks and allocate time efficiently.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ok with working outside/in elements.
High school diploma or GED certificate.
Prior experience in quality assurance, soil science, lab technician, greenhouse or similar roles preferred.
Advanced Education in soil science, horticulture, microbiology, or related field preferred.
