About the National Brain Injury Institute

The National Brain Injury Institute is a specialty medical practice dedicated to the diagnosis, management, and treatment of traumatic brain injury. We are seeking a long-term team member for this office;

Duties:
As Psych Test Technician:

  • Administer and score psychological and neuropsychological tests for patients.
  • Perform scoring of the tests that are administered to the patients.
  • Add the test scores into a report template

As Medical Assistant

  • Will be trainedand conduct the following appointments: CTE, FU, LCPI, TBIS
  • Patient intake and discharge
  • Prepare visit reports for each patient
  • Maintain demographic, PMH, current medication list and pharmacy information for each patient;
  • Schedule ancillary testing and referral appointments
  • Document status of all visits and any recommendations made on Referral Tracker
  • Assist with completion of prior authorization requests and disability paperwork
  • Order office supplies as needed
  • Contact patients at least 1-2 days prior to their appointments to send them the informed consent forms and telehealth link, if applicable

Requirements

  • Bilingual, fluent Spanish/English is required for this position
  • Graduate / Degree in Psychology is a must
  • Must be tech-savvy and have knowledge of working in cloud-based software like G-Suite (Google)
