Property Maintenance Technician for Multifamily and Single Family Properties primarily in South St. Louis City, Mileage Reimbursement available.

We are a reputable Property Management Company primarily operating in the vibrant South St. Louis area. We are currently seeking skilled individuals to join our team as Property Maintenance Technicians. As a member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the regular ongoing maintenance, preventative maintenance, and turnover preparation of our diverse portfolio of residential apartments and homes. Projects will involve a wide range of tasks focused on improving both the interior and exterior cosmetics and systems of our properties. While proficiency in all areas is not required, the following skills and responsibilities are integral to the position:

-Perform general make-ready and repair tasks for apartments and homes, encompassing a variety of projects
-Perform wall repair, painting, plastering, and drywall installation and repair
-Install and trim various flooring types, such as vinyl, ceramic, plank, and tile
-Execute general building repairs and maintenance for building systems
-Replace and repair electrical fixtures, outlets, and switches
-Address plumbing leaks, including sink, drain, and toilet repairs, as well as fixture installations and drain line repairs and replacements
-Conduct roofing and gutter repairs, with a primary focus on flat roofs
-Perform tuckpointing to maintain the brick exterior of our properties
-Carry out grass cutting, landscaping, and general upkeep, including tasks like mulching and weed removal
-Assist with property cleanouts and general cleaning duties
-Conduct minor HVAC repairs and troubleshooting

Requirements for this position include relevant maintenance experience, a reliable and functional vehicle, basic tools, and an Apple or Android smartphone capable of running the necessary applications used by our company.

In addition to performing maintenance tasks, you will be responsible for documenting completed work orders through before/after photos and detailed notes. This role will also require traveling between our office, material suppliers, and each property.

The properties we manage are primarily situated in the South St. Louis area, within a convenient 10-20 minute commute from our office. However, there may be a few properties located in other areas of St. Louis County.
